Inspired from: Psalm 30:2 Oh Lord my God, I cried unto and thou have healed me
Description:
This painting depicts man seeking peace and healing from the presence and power of God as he is seated in his hands on a mountain top.
The place of rest is on the highest mountain of the Most High God, and the vast mountain range represents faith having no boarders and expressing the never ending freedom we find in prayer for in all possibility, in which we find in hope.
The large hands are a symbol of the power and strength of God the Almighty Himself and the symbol of our creator and His marvelous works. We also see how gently the hands are holding him, describing His love and kindness. His presence is like the wind, we cannot see it, but we feel God surrounding us and in our hearts.
