This portrait Painting is part of a Native
American series I’m creating in
appreciation of cultural heritage of the Nipmuc Indians that once lived  here on Webster Lake.
The painting is being used to design over-sized postcards and 100% of the proceeds to benefit The
Rotary Club and their efforts to help
service humanitarian causes.
I have been a member of the Webster/Dudley Rotary Club for several months now, and I am really inspired by every speaker we have who share there efforts to make a difference in the world.
Business owners can participate in this exciting project by becoming a sponsor and/or  sell these gorgeous over-sized postcards through your venue. The project is expected to begin by NOV 12th 2012 when postcards are available to purchase to the public. CLICK HERE $3.00.

I hope you consider helping us or look into joining your local Rotary. The original Native American portrait painting is available for purchase as well as any size canvas print from my website. It will be uploaded in the coming days so you can submit your orders online.
Send an email to me with any questions or concerns you may have.
By the way have you ever heard of the Rotary Club?
What is Rotary? Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. .
PS. We are always looking for new members to help us help others!
Love makes the world go round...thank you for stopping by!

How it All Began ~ The Blackstone River News Article ~ The Green Way Series      PART I

This is where it all began when I was commissioned by the Blackstone Valley Boys & Girls Club to paint my very first painting of the  rivers textile mills. This area is the second location where the Industrial  Revolution was born  here in America.  I knew this was going to be a very BIG project and a complicated one, due to the fact the commissioned piece was to be an aerial view which I had never yet attempted to paint. In, addition, the main part of the painting, was to be the major corporate textile mill that was no longer in existence. The only pieces of the puzzle

The Industrial Revolution ~
Portraits of Time in the Blackstone River Valley

I am excited to share this next addition to my Blackstone River Valley Green Way Series, which I just finished this morning. I have been exploring the National Corridor here in the Blackstone River Valley since the year 2000.  This was a fun to develop and  I chose to paint this seen mainly because captivated by the old wooden damn. I will be having a contest soon, to "Name That Painting".

Ed (my husband) and I were traveling along the river and as we passed over a bridge I noticed it had a high concrete wall on both sides. I asked him to pull over to go for a walk as I was very curious to see what was sitting behind the walls. I climbed up a small rock and take a peak and there it was a hidden gem worth painting.

The damn was surrounded by those beautiful lavender colored flowers we see growing in early spring in the wetlands here in Massachusetts This has been my longest series of paintings and perhaps will be ongoing until I am no longer here to paint.
